during weaving. 84 - Webflex HEN.
Coats Webflex HEN is manufactured by wrapping special
air-jet or ring spun cotton fibre around a continuous filament nylon core,
to form a yarn used in the weft of high performance tyre fabrics.
Special elongation settings in Webflex
HEN yarn enables the tyre to be formed to precise dimensions and shape.
The unique yarn spinning process also allows the fabric weaving process
to operate at speeds in excess of 750ppm with minimal stops. In addition, the special cotton creates heat protection for the nylon core as it goes through the tyre fabric dipping process. It has very low fly / dust resulting in minimal requirement for room cleaning. Webflex HEN is available in two sizes, R04425 is the same product as R04420, but with a 15% yield advantage.
85 -Webflex TEN
Coats Webflex TEN is an air-jet corespun yarn
manufactured using Tencel® which is stronger than cotton and used in the
weft of high performance tyre fabrics.
It can withstand high weaving speeds of over 750ppm with minimal stops and produces minimal dust during manufacturing.
Coats Zeta is made from Ultra High Molecular Weight
Polyethylene (UHMWPE) and is the only commercially available gel-spun,
self-lubricating thread in the world.
It is manufactured with a new generation raw material that is used in highly demanding aerospace and military applications.
Coats Zeta is a highly abrasion-resistant, cut-proof and an extremely light thread. These performance characteristics make Coats Zeta an ideal thread for a range of industrial products. The main applications are aerospace, blimps and parachutes, boat sails, body armour and workwear, cut-proof footwear, gloves and filtration.
